Today is my 38th birthday…
I have finally finished my Shalom Cardigan, blocked it and sewn on the buttons…
I am enjoying the most wonderful day, I woke up to a lovely breakfast made by Richard and my little ones, family have visited, friends have stopped by for tea, the day has flown… I am so blessed today and everyday…

The sweater turned out very well – the lines are flattering and the design/color interesting and refreshing. Yes, I think you are blessed, my dear – but I think also that everyone who becomes aware of your presence is blessed. I won’t show pictures of myself on my next birthday because, to my shock and sorrow, people are no longer surprised when they find out my age; for years, I was a surprise, but it seems now that the years have caught up with my face.
But they have been good years for both of us, haven’t they? Living on this wonderful blue and green planet. Having children, wonderful children, who lead us back to magic when we forget. A partner who cares about us and
lives so that his children may follow. Friends, family, animals and the world around us. Birth day presents indeed.
Thank you for sharing your life so freely and in such a very beautiful manner. I’d take you to lunch tomorrow – but, well – you know.
